On 04/12/2018, Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s West County Narcotic’s Team concluded a three month narcotic investigation into Oxnard resident Karina Gordillo who was involved in the sales of heroin to residents of Ventura County. The West County Street Team was assisted by the Oxnard Police Department’s Neighborhood Policing Team.
 
At approximately 10:30 a.m, detectives executed a search warrant at Gordillo’s residence located in the 800 Block of Rialto Street. Detectives detained Gordillo at the residence and conducted a search pursuant to the search warrant. During the search of the residence detectives located and seized approximately 12 ounces of heroin along with paraphernalia indicative of narcotics sales.
 
Gordillo was booked at the Ventura County Main Jail for possessing heroin for sales and child endangerment charges. Her bail was set at $60,000 and her next scheduled court appearance is set for 4/18/18 at 8:30 am.
 
The West County Street Narcotics Team is comprised of narcotic detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the Oxnard Police Department, and the Port Hueneme Police Department.
