On April 16, 2018, at 4:02 p.m. Deputy U.B. Smith conducted a traffic stop on a Silver 2000 Ford Taurus near the intersection of State Road 57 and County Road 350 South. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Smith identified the driver as 49 year old Lisa King of Winslow, Indiana. During a roadside investigation Deputy Smith ran Ms. King through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle and discovered that Ms. King was driving on a suspended license. At that point Deputy Smith placed Ms. King into custody and transported her to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Ms. King was charged with Driving While Suspended/Prior. She has since posted a $650 bond.

Assisting Deputy Smith in his investigation was Deputy Austin Farrington.
