Incident: Auto Burglary Arrest

Incident Case Number: 1804-1207


Suspect: Alex Mills, 23, Moraga

Charges: 459 PC, 496(a) PC & 1203.2PC

Narrative: Officers were on foot patrol in the 1200 block of 65th St, when they saw Mills in the passenger seat of a truck parked in front of the Oliver Loft Condominiums. Officers contacted Mills and learned that the truck did not belong to him. Officers noticed the inside of the truck was ransacked.

Further investigation revealed Mills was on probation for identity theft with a search clause. During a search of Mills and his property Officers located personal information belonging to several different people. Officers contacted the owner of the truck, who stated he did not know Mills and he did not give him permission to be in his truck.

Mills was arrested for auto burglary, possession of stolen property and probation violation. Mills was transported to jail.
