the Greenbrier River At Alderson
* from this afternoon until Tuesday evening
* At 07AM Monday the stage was 8.8 feet.
* Flood Stage is 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late this afternoon and
continue to rise to near 15.8 feet by after midnight tomorrow.The
river will fall below flood stage by tomorrow late morning.
* Impact...at 15.0 feet...Farm land along river bank near gage is
flooded.
* Flood history...this crest compares to a previous crest of 15.7
feet on Jan 31 2013.
