...Freezing Temperatures Returning To Middle Tennessee... .A strong surface upper plains high pressure system will build southward through Monday night. This will bring a return to freezing temperatures across mid state region late tonight into mid morning hours on Monday and again late Monday night into mid morning hours on Tuesday. Low lying locations west of Cumberland Plateau Region and locations across Cumberland Plateau Region will be the most prone to experience freezing temperatures during both these time periods. Although it looks presently like freezing temperatures will be experienced late Monday night into the mid morning hours on Tuesday, some uncertainty in what actual low temperatures remains. Thus, presently, only a freeze watch issued. ...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM CDT TO 8 AM CDT MONDAY... ...FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE MONDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING... The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 3 AM CDT to 8 AM CDT Monday. A Freeze Watch has also been issued. This Freeze Watch is in effect from late Monday night through Tuesday morning.

* TEMPERATURE...Around 32 degrees for low lying locations west of the Cumberland Plateau Region and across the Cumberland Plateau Region itself for both Monday and Tuesday early to mid mornings.

* IMPACTS...Crops will likely be damaged or killed along with other sensitive vegetation.
