On 04/15/18 at 1:00 A.M., an officer of the Janesville Police Department observed a vehicle recklessly driving at 2700 Pontiac Pl. The officer made contact with the vehicle being operated by Stanley Kanarowski.
Kanarowski displayed signs of impairment by intoxicants. Kanarowski submitted to standardized field sobriety testing. Based upon the officer’s observations, there was probable cause to arrest Kanarowski for OWI. A check of his driving record showed 4 prior alcohol related convictions. Kanarowski also had a 0.02 BAC restriction. Kanarowski was subsequently arrested for OWI-5th offense. Kanarowski submitted to an evidentiary chemical testing of his blood. The results of that test are pending.
Kanarowski was held at the Rock County Jail pending an intial appearance. He was alos arrested on an outstanding warrant.
