Special Message on Brush Collection
Crews have spent the past several weeks going across the 42 square miles of Township clearing the fallen trees and brush. The special curbside brush collection crews have collected nearly 3,500 cubic yards of brush. The large brush collection was the result of four different winter storms that impacted our community. It was the largest number of trees damaged and fallen since Hurrciane Sandy hit the community.
THE CURBSIDE COLLECTION OF BRUSH IS COMPLETED. Crews will not be returning to areas that have been collected. Please DO NOT continue to put brush at curbside.
South Brunswick residents can take any remaining brush to the brush drop off site located at the rear of Sondek Park (473 New Road, Monmouth Junction NJ 08852). Near the intersection of New Road and Friendship Road.
Brush is mandated for recycling by Middlesex County and therefore will NOT be collected with the garbage.
