FEMA Until Help Arrives program to be presented on 5/24/18

The Denville Township Office of Emergency Management will be hosting a FEMA Until Help Arrives program on Thursday, May 24th from 7pm to 10pm in the Community Room at the Denville Municipal Building.

If someone is injured, the first few minutes are critical in helping their chances of surviving serious life-threatening injuries. Would you know how to help them until professional help arrives? The FEMA Until Help Arrives program will teach you how to:
- Use simple and effective skills to save lives
- Effectively communicate with 9-1-1 Operators
- Stay safe
- Stop life threatening bleeding
- Manage your body under stress
- Position the injured

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from some of New Jersey's most respected pre-hospital providers. There is no fee to attend the program and the course will include lecture, videos and hands-on elements.
