...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM MDT THIS EVENING... ...FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING... The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Freeze Watch, which is in effect from late Friday night through Saturday morning. The Wind Advisory remains in effect through 8 pm MDT this evening.

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE...Grand Junction, Fruita, Palisade, Gateway, Nucla, Cortez, Dove Creek, Mancos, Durango, Bayfield, Ignacio, Pagosa Springs, Blanding, Moab, Castle Valley, Canyonlands National Park, Dead Horse Point State Park, and Fry Canyon.

* TEMPERATURES...Regarding the Freeze Watch, low temperatures Friday night into Saturday morning are forecast to drop into the 20s.

* WINDS...Northwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts 45 to 55 mph.

* TIMING...Windy conditions will peak this afternoon and continue through the evening hours.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down. Travel may be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ANIMAS RIVER BASIN ... FOUR CORNERS, UPPER DOLORES RIVER ... GRAND VALLEY ... PARADOX VALLEY, LOWER DOLORES RIVER ... SAN JUAN RIVER BASIN
