Deputies are searching for a suspect wanted for stabbing a man yesterday in Victorville

INCIDENT: Attempted Murder
LOCATION: 12300 block of Bridgewood Lane
SUSPECT: Unknown Male
VICTIM: Confidential, 24-year old male resident of Victorville
SUMMARY: On April 10, 2018, deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the 12300 block of Bridgewood Lane, for a male who had been stabbed. Upon arriving at the location, deputies located the victim in the backyard of the residence, suffering from a stab wound to his chest area. He was transported to a nearby hospital for his injury, which was believed to be non-life threatening.
Through investigation, deputies learned the victim had been involved in a fight with a white male at the location. The fight escalated and the suspect stabbed the victim with a sword. After stabbing the victim, the suspect left the location, possibly in a white pickup truck. An extensive search of the area was conducted but the suspect was not located.
