A Grand Lake resident walking dogs came across a dead body this afternoon. That person called 911 to report the body. The GRDA Police Department, Delaware County Sheriff's Department, and the Hickory Grove Fire Department responded to the 26000 block of S. 585 Road, approximately 1/2 mile southeast of Grove. The GRDA requested OSBI special agents assist with the suspicious death investigation. The body is that of a white make approximately 25-to-30 years old. The medical examiner will transport the body to its office for an autopsy. Agents are hopeful fingerprints will identify the man. No determination yet on cause of death.
