Deputies are searching for a suspect who attacked and attempted to rob a pizza delivery man

INCIDENT: P.C. 664/211 Attempted Robbery
LOCATION: (Heights Apartment Complex) 22491 Deberry St. Grand Terrace
SUSPECT: Unknown Hispanic Male late 20's early 30's
SUMMARY:
On Friday, April 6, 2018 at 2:45 p.m., the victim went to the Heights Apartment Complex to deliver a pizza. The victim made his delivery and was returning to his vehicle parked on the complex property when he was approached by an unidentified hispanic male(late 20’s standing approximately 5'07" weighing 160 pounds with a light complexion wearing a white t-shirt khaki shorts with short hair and a mustache). The suspect impeded the victims path to his vehicle and told the victim “Give me what you got” the victim replied “no” and attempted to walk past. The suspect punched the victim in the face and head with a closed fist and the victim fought back and was able to repel the attack. During the confrontation the suspect reached into the victim's apron pocket multiple times but was unable to take any money or property from the victim. The victim entered his vehicle and drove off. The victim suffered superficial cuts to his right hand and he complained of a headache.
