Email Threat to Calaveras and Bret Hart District Schools
(San Andreas, CA) On the morning of April 9, 2018 the Sheriff’s Office learned that Calaveras County school officials in the Calaveras and Bret Hart Unified School Districts received an email from an unknown person who threatened to bring a gun to school to harm students and staff. Sheriff’s office investigators are actively working in conjunction with the Angels Camp Police Department to investigate this situation. No specific schools or dates were mentioned in the threat. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
