High Wind Watch until 09:00AM Tuesday

.A quick hitting storm is expected late tonight and early Tuesday morning with just a few hours of strong winds, with the main impacts expected at the beaches and coastal headlands. ...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING NEAR BEACHES AND HEADLANDS... The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a High Wind Watch Near Beaches and Headlands, which is in effect from late tonight through Tuesday morning.

* WINDS...Beaches and headlands...south to southeast winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts 55 to 65 mph. Coastal communities south to southeast winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts 40 to 50 mph.

* TIMING...Late tonight and early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Some tree damage near the immediate coast is possible. Some very localized power outages are possible.

* AFFECTED AREAS: CENTRAL OREGON COAST ... NORTH OREGON COAST
