Full Notification

At approximately 9:40 p.m., Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a residence on Mammy Grant Road in Bluffton to a report of an adult female gunshot victim. Upon their arrival, deputies found the woman inside of the residence and secured the scene. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were summoned to the residence and, when they arrived, confirmed that the woman was deceased and had sustained at least one gunshot wound.

The circumstances surrounding this apparent homicide are currently under investigation. The deceased woman's identity and additional information will be released when available. Anyone with information is urged to contact Sheriff's Office Emergency Dispatch 9-1-1 or Crimestoppers 1-888-CrimeSC if wishing to remain anonymous and for possible reward.
