This is an advisory from the City of Mill Valley. Forecasters are predicting heavy rains and strong winds continuing through tonight and into Saturday. Mill Valley has the potential to experience localized flooding in the low lying areas, more specifically, the Sycamore Triangle. It is highly recommended that you be proactive now and stay alert. Consider moving personal belongings to higher ground, including vehicles. The Mill Valley Community Center is a good choice to safely park your vehicle away from flooding areas. Avoid walking in flood waters as this could pose a threat of injury or death. If present, avoid down power lines. If conditions worsen, consider evacuating you and your family to higher ground.
