The City of Ripon is offering a service for residential customers to conveniently dispose of LARGE household items during the months of April – September. Residential customers are offered one scheduled pick up during this period. Please schedule early, pick up dates are limited. If you have items to dispose of, please carefully read the following procedure and regulations.
The City of Ripon is offering a service for residential customers to conveniently dispose of LARGE household items during the months of April – September. Residential customers are offered one scheduled pick up during this period. Please schedule early, pick up dates are limited. If you have items to dispose of, please carefully read the following procedure and regulations.
- To schedule a pick up, call or e-mail the Public Works Department at [email protected]. At that time, you will receive a confirmation number.
- This is a one-time service per year for residential utility customers only.
- Items must be placed on the street next to the curb in a manner that does not obstruct vehicles or pedestrians path of travel.
- Items must be out by 7:00 am on your scheduled day, but no earlier than 24 hours prior.
- There is a limit of four (4) large items per household.
- Please review the acceptable and non-acceptable items list attached.
- Items will only be picked up, if you are scheduled and have a confirmation number.

EVEN Addresses: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
No Watering on Monday
Watering Prohibited from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
