Full Notification

The Board of Water Supply (BWS) is responding to a 20-inch water main break near Kanewai Community Park on Dole Street. All lanes of Dole Street will remain closed until further notice between East-West Road and St. Louis Drive. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes. A water wagon is positioned near the intersection of Dole Street and Frank Street. A spigot is also placed on a nearby hydrant to provide water to affected customers in the Dole Street area. Trash pickup for residents on Dole Street will be delayed until after the main break repairs are completed. Residents may leave the trash bins out. At this time the main break is affecting St. Louis Heights, Wilhelmina, Palolo, Diamond Head and Kaimuki. Water service is slowly being restored to customers in Wilhelmina, Palolo, Diamond Head, and Kaimuki. Until water service can be fully restored customers may experience water low to no water pressure. Customers are asked to use water sparingly for essential needs only to allow the system to recover.
