The Board of Water Supply (BWS) is responding to a 20-inch water main break near Kanewai Park on Dole Street. All lanes of Dole Street are closed between Kanewai Community Park and Frank Street. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes. At this time the main break is affecting St. Louis Heights, Wilhelmina, Palolo, and Kaimuki. Customers are asked to use water sparingly for essential needs only such as cooking, cleaning, and sanitary needs. The main break was reported at approximately 2 a.m. Additional information will be provided when it becomes available.
