On 4-4-2018 at 12:40pm, James Boatwright, 52, was taken into custody on Glover Road in the Hopewell Community of Rutherford County.
Boatwright was wanted on a total of $200,000.00 secured bond for Failure to Appear in Superior Court.
Boatwright failed to appear in court last Wednesday after accepting a plea deal, in which he was to be sent to prison for 77 to 105 months. Boatwright had been charged with such crimes as Habitual Felon, Possess Methamphetamine, PWIMSD Methamphetamine, Possess Sch II, and other misdemeanor charges.
Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service, Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office, Rutherford County Emergency Management and N.C. Dept. of Public Safety began searching for Boatwright this morning after Boatwright jumped and ran from a vehicle in the Hopewell Community.
