* At 827 AM CDT, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Charleston, Mattoon, Paris, Marshall, Toledo, Casey, Neoga, Greenup, Martinsville, Kansas, Ashmore, Stewardson, Cowden, Westfield, Beecher City, Lerna, Vermilion, Jewett, Shumway and Montrose. This includes the following highways... Interstate 57 between mile markers 164 and 189. Interstate 70 between mile markers 104 and 154.
