The following is a synopsis of crimes reported for the week of Mar 25 – Mar 31, 2018
 
March 25, 2018

• No significant activity.

• A Commercial Burglary was reported at 1030 Huntington Drive.  The front window of an unoccupied business was shattered and a paper shredder was stolen.
• A Grand Theft Vehicle was reported from the 1400 block of Mountain Avenue.  The victim’s 1996 Honda Accord was stolen from the residence.

• A Residential Burglary was reported on the 3200 block of Hacienda Drive.  Entry was made through an unlocked dining room window.  The house was ransacked and a gold ring was stolen.
• A Petty Theft was reported at 1318 Duarte Road (Cowboy Mex).  A male suspect stole a shirt from the display rack and exited the store.  The shop owner detained the suspect until deputies arrived and placed the suspect under arrest.
• A Petty Theft was reported on the 1300 block of Starhaven Street.  A car stereo was stolen from the trunk of the victim’s unlocked vehicle.  The victim confronted a male whom she suspected of stealing the speaker.  The speaker was returned. 

• A Vehicle Burglary was reported on the 2300 block of Huntington Drive.  The rear passenger window was shattered and miscellaneous tools were stolen from the back seat.
• A Petty Theft was reported at 2705 Huntington Drive (7-eleven).  A male suspect stole a pack of playing cards.

• An Assault with a Deadly Weapon was reported on the 2300 block of Maynard Drive.  A male suspect entered the victim’s home through the rear door and attacked the victim with a knife.  The victim and suspect struggled for the knife.  During the struggle, the suspect sustained a stab wound to his inner thigh.  The suspect left the location on foot.  He traveled east-bound on Maynard Drive and out of view.
• A Domestic Assault was reported on the 2400 block of Bloomdale Street.  The male suspect punched his wife in the face, several times, during an argument. 
• A Domestic Assault was reported on the 1200 block of Highland Avenue.  The male suspect choked his girlfriend during an argument.  Responding deputies arrested the suspect.

• A Strong- Armed Robbery was reported at 1050 Huntington Drive (Target).  A female suspect stole miscellaneous merchandise from the store.  She fought with Loss Prevention Officers, in an attempt to escape with the stolen merchandise.  She was ultimately detained by the Loss Prevention Officers.  Responding Deputies placed her under arrest.
• A Grand Theft was reported at 1183 Huntington Drive (America’s Best Contacts and Eyeglasses).  A male suspect stole approximately 20 pairs of sunglasses from the store display.

• Deputies arrested an adult female for brandishing a weapon, an adult male for petty theft, and an adult male for possession of illegal narcotics.

• Deputies arrested an adult female, and an adult male for possession of illegal narcotics.

• Deputies arrested an adult male for domestic assault.

• Deputies arrested an adult male for assault, and an adult female for strong armed robbery.
