Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the apparent shooting death of a male adult that occurred in the 5800 block of East Avenue T in the city of Palmdale, and was discovered at approximately 11:45 A.M. on Thursday, March 29, 2018.

At approximately 11:45 A.M., Palmdale Station deputies were dispatched to the location in response to a “medical rescue” call.  Upon arrival, deputies discovered a four wheel drive truck stuck in soft sand just off the dirt shoulder on East Avenue T.   They discovered the male inside the truck unresponsive.  The victim sustained apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The weapon was not recovered and the suspect is outstanding.

This murder does not appear to be gang related.

There is no further information and the investigation is on-going.
