Tuesday evening at approximately 9:30, a 911 call alerted Hartshorne police of a shooting that occurred at 516 N. 6th Street. When police arrived, they discovered Kyle Thomas Brown, 19, dead from a gunshot wound inside his home. The police department requested OSBI special agents assist with the homicide investigation. After interviewing several people at the scene, agents determined Brown was shot while driving his SUV on the street in front of his home. Others inside the vehicle pulled him from the vehicle and took him inside the house where he died. Overnight, agents processed the vehicle for evidence. Today, agents will continue the investigation alongside Hartshorne police. No arrest has been made.
