DUARTE WEEKLY CRIME BLOTTER March 18 - March 24, 2018

The following is a synopsis of crimes reported for the week of Mar 18 – Mar 24, 2018
 
March 18, 2018

  • A Grand Theft was reported at 2315 Huntington Drive (CVS).  A male suspect stole numerous bottles of vitamins from the store.
March 19, 2018
  • No significant activity.
March 20, 2018
  • A Grand Theft Vehicle was reported from the 1800 block of Orange Grove Road.  The victim’s 1989 Toyota Tacoma was stolen from the residential parking lot.
  • A Vehicle Burglary was reported on the 3300 block of Van Tassel Way.  Suspect(s) broke into the victim’s locked trailer and stole electronics and a lantern.
 
March 21, 2018
  •     No significant activity.
 
March 22, 2018
  • An Aggravated Assault was reported on the 1300 block of Huntington Drive.  The suspect pulled the juvenile victim by the hair, and punched her, as she was getting on a Foothill Transit bus.
  • A Grand Theft Vehicle was reported from the 1400 block of Third Street.  A female suspect took the victim’s 1996 Honda Civic for a test drive and did not bring it back.
  • A Petty Theft was reported from the 3000 block of Royal Oaks Drive.  The victim saw a male suspect, in a silver Honda Accord, steal mail from her mail box.  The vehicle drove eastbound on Royal Oaks Drive and out of view.
 
March 23, 2018
  • A Strong Arm Robbery was reported on the 1400 block of Random Lane.  A Male suspect used force to steal a necklace and pendant from the victim.
  • A Commercial Burglary was reported at 1856 Huntington Drive (Cabrera’s Mexican Cuisine).  The front window was shattered and the cash register, containing U.S. currency, was stolen.
  • A Grand Theft Vehicle was reported from 1434 Buena Vista Street (Nissan of Duarte).  A 2017 Nissan Sentra was stolen from the Dealership lot.
  • A Petty Theft was reported from the 1300 block of Random Lane.  A catalytic converter was stolen off of the victim’s parked car.
 
March 24, 2018
  • A Residential Burglary was reported on the 600 block Woodbluff Avenue.  The rear sliding glass door was shattered and the house was ransacked.  A small amount of U.S. currency was stolen.
 
 
  • A Petty Theft was reported at 1600 Mountain Avenue (Wal-Mart).  A male suspect stole miscellaneous merchandise from display shelves.  Responding deputies arrested the suspect a block north of the store.
  • A Residential Burglary was reported on the 2000 block of Hurlock Avenue.  The pedestrian door to the garage was forced open and an electric bicycle was stolen.
