General Information
Storm Impacted communities- We have resources in and responding, to impacted areas and communities. Prioritizing life safety, then ingress and egress to your homes. We are also utilizing aircraft so please don’t be alarmed of low flying helicopters etc.
We have stationed Sheriff’s Office staff inside many affected areas and staffed all of our North County Sub Stations.
Phone Service Information- TDS phone lines are down, including 911 service. All customers who use TDS for their home land line service in Mariposa County are affected. If you have an emergency please use a cell phone if possible. We also have Sheriff units stationed at the intersection of Hwy 49N and Bear Valley and Stag Hall in Hornitos, you can drive to those units for assistance.

Hornitos Rd- This area is under massive repair at this time. We are asking the public to please drive with extream caution while in the area and to avoid the area if possible. There are lots of heavy equipment in the area.
Red Cross Center is opened at Mariposa Elementary School 5044 Jones St. Mariposa
Road Information
County Road Conditions: The most updated list of road conditions can be found on the Mariposa County Website at www.mariposacounty.org. Road conditions continue to change quickly and as road crews are assessing the areas.
Reporting Road damage to any County Road please email [email protected] or call public works at 209-966-5356 between 8am-5pm.
