Yucca Valley Man Arrested for Lewd Acts with a Child

LOCATION: 7200 block of Inca Trail, Yucca Valley, 92284
SUSPECT: Eddie Lowery, 46 years, Yucca Valley
VICTIM: Confidential 13-year old female
SUMMARY: On Friday, March 23, 2018, at about 1:20 a.m., Sheriff’s Dispatch received a 911 text message from a 13-year old female who claimed to be a run-a way out of the Sacramento area and disclosed that she was touched by her father, Eddie Lowery, while she was sleeping at his house at the 7200 block of Inca Trail in Yucca Valley. Lowery was found hiding underneath the mobile home and detained without incident.
Following interviews of the victim and Lowery, Lowery was arrested for violation of Penal Code 288(a) - Lewd acts with a child and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail. The victim was removed from the missing persons system and turned over to the custody of Child and Family Services.
