INDIANAPOLIS – On March 22, 2018, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Homicide Detectives arrested 48 year-old Jason Hancock of Brownsburg, IN for his alleged involvement in the murder of Michael Marks.

The Marion County Prosecutor's Office will make the final charging decision. Additionally, the Probable Cause Affidavit will be available after their process is complete. 

Anyone with additional information should call the IMPD Homicide Unit at 317-327-3475 or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-TIPS. INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Homicide detectives are on-scene of a death investigation where a male was found deceased inside a building.

Just after 7:30 a.m. on 03/21/2018, Homicide detectives were conducting a follow-up on an investigation when they discovered the body of a deceased male inside a building on the city’s west side. The Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency responded to assist with identifying and collecting potential forensic evidence. The Marion County Coroner’s Office (MCCO) will be assisting in determining the exact manner and cause of death of the male. The male’s name will be released by the MCCO once the male has been identified and their next-of-kin has been notified.
