Power Outage in Residential Area of Janss Rd/Surrey Ct - SCE Working to Restore Power #ThousandOaksPolice

On 3/22/18 at about 8:45 a.m., the Thousand Oaks Police Department and Ventura County Fire Department responded to the area of Janss Rd. and Surrey Ct. in reference to a report of a blown electrical transformer.

Southern California Edison (SCE) responded to the location and the scene was rendered safe. Approximately 300-400 customers in the area are without power. SCE estimates power will be restored around 5 p.m. today. There are currently no road closures in the residential area.

Drive safely in the rainy weather and be observant for SCE trucks and equipment on the streets in the residential area.
