The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office has experienced an increase in reports of Larcenies from Motor Vehicles within the last couple of months from mostly UNLOCKED vehicles.  We urge citizens, residents and visitors to LOCK YOUR VEHICLES to prevent these thefts.  A little prevention on the front end can save many problems on the back end!  Together we can make a difference by stowing all valuables out of sight, locking vehicle doors upon parking and reporting suspicious persons and activities in the community to law enforcement.
