The Newark Police Department is releasing information about recent crime and police activity that has occurred within our community. 
March 21st
0954 Hours: Officer Wang investigated the theft of mail from the community mailboxes on the 39700 block of Portrero Drive.
1209 Hours: Officer Allum investigated a single vehicle non-injury accident on the 36300 block of La Salle Drive.
1758 Hours: Officer Losier investigated a non-injury auto accident on the 6100 block of Jarvis Avenue.
1921 Hours: Officer Losier contacted and arrested a 24-year-old transient male for disorderly conduct / being under the influence of alcohol on the 34900 block of Newark Boulevard. The suspect was booked into the Santa Rita Jail.
