Illinois woman arrested on Reckless Driving charge. 
On March 21, 2018, at 2:43 p.m. Deputy U.B. Smith conducted a traffic stop on a Grey 2007 Chevy Equinox for traveling in excess of 110 mph on US 41 near Fort Branch, Indiana. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Smith identified the driver as 48 year old Amy Edwards of Paris, Illinois. After a roadside investigation Ms. Edwards was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail.
Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Ms. Edwards was charged with Reckless Driving. She has since posted a $900 bond.
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
