Light snow continues to fall across the township and will continue until 4am. Forecasters have lowered snow totals but additional accumulation is still expected. Monroe has approximately 4-5” on the ground.

Township roads are slick and still snow covered. We urge our residents to remain safe and stay off the roads while municipal and county plows continue clearing operations.

JCPL reports no power outages.

Monroe Township DPW continue plowing secondary and neighborhood roads at this hour. Road clearing operations will continue throughout the night. Please keep vehicles parked off roadways to help plow operators clear efficiently.

Remember, under Township ordinance, sidewalks should be cleared within 24 hours after precipitation stops and if you are near a fire hydrant or school bus stop, please keep the area clear for the safety of all your neighbors.
