The heaviest part of the storm is still to come. Very heavy snow is forecast between now and 11PM. Visibility is reduced to ½ mile. The Governor has declared a state of emergency restricting some travel. If you don’t need to go out, stay home. JCP&L is currently reporting that there are no outages in West Amwell.
We continue to monitor Facebook, and will be in contact with JCP&L if needed.. The Public Works Department, The Police Department, West Amwell Fire Company, Lambertville New Hope Ambulance & Rescue Squad, and Amwell Valley Ambulance Corps are all in operations mode at this point, with EMS and Fire stations maned.
Forecasts still show our area receiving up to 12 inches of snow before midnight. Further updates will be provided as needed.
