The Newark Police Department is releasing information about recent crime and police activity that has occurred within our community. 
March 20th
1000 Hours: Officer R. Johnson recovered a Honda Accord reported stolen out of Pleasanton on Dahlia Drive at Birch Street. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
1258 Hours: While investigating a collision on Central Avenue, Officer R. Johnson arrested a 36-year-old Oakland male for driving on a suspended license and for being a restricted driver using a vehicle without an interlock device. The suspect was issued a citation and released at the scene.
1452 Hours: Officer Losier investigated a residential burglary on the 6100 block of Tourraine Drive. The loss was televisions, laptop, and watches.
1633 Hours: Officer R. Johnson investigated a multi-vehicle non-injury auto accident on Thornton Avenue at Cedar Boulevard.
