State of emergency declared for NJ ahead of heavy snow tomorrow.
Governor Phil Murphy has declared a State of Emergency effective at 7pm this evening. Heavy snow and high winds are expected to impact our area beginning tomorrow morning.
This is expected to a very heavy, wet snow and there is a possibility of downed power lines and trees. Please report power outages directly to PSE&G, and only use 9-1-1 to report an emergency condition.
Commercial travel bans are in place for a number of state roadways, and residents are encouraged to avoid travel if possible.
Finally, please remove vehicles from designated emergency snow routes. Vehicles in violation will be ticketed and towed.
