Warrant Issued for Newark Man Wanted for Making Domestic Violence Terroristic Threats
James Pittman, 48, of Newark, on a charge of terroristic threats under domestic violence laws in connection with an incident that occurred on Sunday, March 18th, 2018.
At approximately 6:30 p.m., police responded to a South Ward residence on a reported threat. Pittman threatened the life of a woman he knows. He is described as 5’8” tall and 180 lbs., with brown eyes, black hair and a tattoo of a cross on both his left and right arms.
While police are actively searching for Pittman, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from our streets. This investigation is ongoing.
