...DENSE FOG TO DEVELOP AND PERSIST THROUGH 10 AM EDT THIS MORNING... .Dry air moving in aloft atop abundant moisture near the surface will permit areas of dense fog to develop around the region this morning. The fog will gradually lift and dissipate through the late morning hours. ...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EDT THIS MORNING... The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 10 AM EDT this morning.

* LOCATIONS...The western Carolinas and northeast Georgia.

* VISIBILITY...One-quarter mile or less in dense fog.

* IMPACTS...Limited visibilities will make travel difficult. The visibility may change greatly over short distances.
