Personal injury accident in Cass county 
Sheriff Behnke reports his office investigated a two car crash on 03-19-2018 at approx. 1024 Hrs. This crash occurred at M-51 near Peavine St, Pokagon Twp, Cass County, Michigan.
A vehicle driven by Christina Gousetis, 31 yrs of Niles, MI was south bound on M-51 when her vehicle was struck by a tire which came off a north bound vehicle. The north bound vehicle was driven by April Weaver, 35 yrs of Buchanan, MI. Gousetis was transported from the crash site to Lakeland Hospital for minor injuries.
Deputies were assisted on scene by Pokagon Tribal Police, Pride Care Ambulance and Pokagon Fire Dept.
Seatbelts were worn and Alcohol/Drugs do not appear to have been factors in the crash.
The Crash remains under investigation
