Assistance is needed in locating Brooklyn Layton age 12 last seen at her residence in Rancho Cucamonga Sunday evening

INCIDENT: Critical Missing Person/Runaway Juvenile
LOCATION: 11400 block of Lomello Way, Rancho Cucamonga
MISSING PERSON: Brooklyn Layton, age 12 - Caucasian female, 5'4" tall, approximately 100 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes. No known medical problems
LAST SEEN WEARING: Green long sleeved shirt, grey sweatpants, unknown shoes
SUMMARY:
On Monday, March 19, 2018, at approximately 2:30 am, deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to a residence in the 11400 block of Lomello Way following the report of a missing person, Brooklyn Layton. Broklyn's parents advised deputies that they last saw her on Sunday at approximately 9:30 pm. When they went to check on her in her room at approximately 2:00 am, she was gone.
Based on information provided by Brooklyn's parents, deputies believe she left the residence on her own. However, she is only 12 years of age, which makes her a critical missing person.
