Fire Incident: One person injured in explosion 
On March 17, 2018 at 2:21pm, Middleton Police Officers and Middleton Fire Department were dispatched to a business at 6814 Elmwood Avenue for a report of an explosion. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with an employee who was on scene during the explosion and sustained non-life threatening injuries. He was transported to a local hospital.
The Middleton Fire Department was able to put the fire out and it has been turned over the Police Department for investigation. The incident appears to have been caused by an accident and there is no threat to the public at this time.
