Motorists are reminded to use alternate routes around Sheridan St., between Kapiolani Blvd. and Makaloa St., as that portion of Sheridan St. is completely closed to allow Board of Water Supply (BWS) crews to repair a broken 8-inch main. Repairs are expected to continue well into tomorrow.
The main broke in the early morning hours, leaving 3 BWS customers -- including a low-rise apartment building -- without water service for the duration of the repair. The BWS has set up a water wagon fronting 620 Sheridan St., where the apartments are, to provide water for residents.
