Just before 8 o’clock this morning, a man checking his cattle in the 13000 block of County Road 3680 in Pontotoc County discovered a dead body. He called the sheriff’s office who, in turn, called the medical examiner’s office and the OSBI for assistance. The medical examiner’s office has transported the body to its Oklahoma City office for an autopsy and identification. OSBI special agents documented the scene and collected evidence. OSBI forensic analysts will process the evidence at the OSBI Forensic Science Center.
