On March 10, 2018, at 1:55 p.m. Deputy Ben Kiesel conducted a traffic stop on a Red 2017 Hyundai for speeding on Interstate 69 near the 35 mile marker. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Kiesel identified the driver as 25 year old Kierra Taylor of Indianapolis. During a roadside investigation Deputy Kiesel ran Ms. Taylor through the Indiana BMV and discovered that her driver’ license was suspended on a prior conviction. At that point he placed Ms. Taylor into custody and transported her to the Gibson County Jail where she was charged with Driving While Suspended/Prior. She has since posted a $650 bond.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
