Car Burglary Arrest

ACCUSED: Brooke B. Slade, 44-year-old female // Phoenix, AZ
NARRATIVE:
On January 29th, 2018 police responded to a motor vehicle burglary in which the suspect smashed the window of a vehicle and stole items left in plain sight. Detective Raheem Carter was assigned to the investigation and learned of an arrest made in Asbury Park involving a female. Police later recovered stolen property from that arrest which was identified by the victim as proceeds from our vehicle burglary.
The accused is identified as Brooke Slade a 44 year-old-female from Phoenix, Arizona. She is a suspected member of the Felony Lane Gang, a group that commits “smash and grab” type vehicle burglaries from parking lots. She was charged with burglary, theft, criminal mischief and possession of burglar’s tools. Slade remains in custody at the Monmouth County jail.
