#016 Public Intoxication Arrest
At 12:18 p.m., Officer Berrier and Officer Haugh responded to a call of a male trespassing in the 39200 block of Paseo Padre Pkwy.  The male was drinking out of a large bottle of Jack Daniels and screaming at people shopping in the area.  They contact a 48 year old adult male in the area who is intoxicated and unable to care for himself.  The male was booked at Santa Rita for being drunk in public under case.

#023 & 026 Suspicious Circumstances 
Fremont officers responded to a call at the Fremont Hub at approximately 3:29 p.m., to investigate a brandishing a weapon report. It was reported that someone brandished a handgun while traveling in a vehicle along the west side of the Hub.  As officers responded they began to set up a loose perimeter in an effort to capture the subject.  The suspect vehicle was described as a dark colored older model Toyota Camry.  After a short time an adult male, matching the suspect’s description, was located and detained as he walked nearby.  After further investigation it was determined that man detained was not in fact the suspect; however he was found in possession of narcotics so he was arrested.  With the assistance of Street Crime Unit members, the actual suspect was identified and contacted via a cell phone.  He agreed to return to his car and be questioned by Officer Catassi.  He too was found to be in possession of narcotics and so arrested.  Officer Catassi took two individuals to jail for possession of a controlled substance and seized a handgun for safekeeping.  

#001 Driving without a License
Officer Chan conducted a traffic stop on Mission Blvd at Mohave Dr.  He contacted the driver, a 40 year old adult male, who was found to be driving while unlicensed.  Officer Chan arrested and cited the male for driving without a license. 

#002 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest 
Officer Kerner conducted a traffic stop on Mission Blvd at Nursery Ave.  He contacted three people in the vehicle.  Officer Kerner detained all three and ended the stop with arresting a 33 year old adult female for possession of a methamphetamine pipe.  Officer Kerner transported the female to the Fremont Jail for booking.

#013 Armed Robbery
At 11:26 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 43500 block of Christy St to investigate an in-progress armed robbery.  Three suspects wearing masks and bright colored jackets entered a retail store armed with guns and a stun-gun type device.  The suspects demanded patrons drop to the floor during the robbery.  Something caused the suspects to change their course of action and they fled before taking anything.  They left and got into a van which was parked in the east parking lot.  The suspects drove the van eastbound on Auto Mall Pkwy.  The van was later learned to be stolen out of Antioch.  Police personnel arrived on-scene very quickly due to already being in the area for preventative auto burglary efforts and traffic enforcement. It was determined that the incident occurred at 11:24 a.m.  The van was later recovered unoccupied in Fremont.
Suspect #1 Black male adult, 6’ tall, slim build, in his 20’s, wearing a yellow rain suit, a dark colored sweatshirt and black mask, armed with a gun.
Suspect #2 Unknown race male, slim build, in his 20’s, wearing a bright orange vest, blue jeans and white shoes, armed with a gun.
Suspect #3 Unknown race male, medium build, wearing a dark colored sweatshirt and jeans, carrying a stun-gun type device and black bag.

#004 Commercial Burglary
Officers were dispatched at 4:04 a.m., to the Public Storage on Albrae St for a burglary that just occurred.  A person who was on the property with permission from the manager, heard a loud bang and discovered the main office had been forcibly entered via a window smash.  The reporting party saw a subject run away and get into a vehicle that fled.  Officer La Strape investigated the incident.

#005 Commercial Burglary
Officers were dispatched at 4:48 a.m., to the Public Storage on Enterprise St on a commercial burglar alarm that was called in at 4:13 a.m.  Officers arrived to find the main office was forcibly entered via a window smash.  Officer La Strape investigated the incident.

#012 Strong-Arm Robbery Arrest
A 911 call came in regarding two females who were fighting near the area of Bonde and Maple.  As officers were responding, it was determined and updated that it was a strong-arm robbery.  Officer Gallagher contacted the suspect about a block away who was still in possession of the stolen property.  The 53 year old adult female suspect was arrested for the robbery and at booked at Santa Rita Jail.

#028 – Auto Burglary
An auto burglary was investigated in the 300 Block of Riesling Ct.  The incident occurred around 5:00 a.m., and involved 2 victim vehicles. Homeowner had video.  Case investigated by Officer Forsberg and FTO Officer Loughery.

#029/030/031 Hit & Run  
At 4:10 p.m., Officer Montojo attempted to stop a red Camaro near 5 Corners in Irvington.  The vehicle fled southbound on Fremont Blvd. while discarding paperwork from the car.  No pursuit was initiated but several victims reported that the suspect car was involved in 2 hit and runs after fleeing from officers.  Shortly after, a witness reported that the suspect vehicle parked near Bob’s Foam Factory and 2 subjects were seen running from the car.  At approximately 4:36 p.m., a K9 track was used from the suspect vehicle.  Within several minutes, the K9 located one male suspect hiding behind a car in the parking lot of Cal Self Storage just one block north.  The employees then said that the second suspect, a female, was hiding in the bathroom of the business.  K9 announcements were given to the female suspect who immediately surrendered.  Traffic Officer Snow took one hit and run report while Officer Ramsey took the other.  Officer Montojo took both suspects into custody and is following up on potential identity theft material from the vehicle.  A 30 year old adult male, Newark resident and a 30 year old female, Manteca resident, were arrested on numerous charges, including evading police without disregard, hit and run property damage x2, probation violations, and several fraud charges.

#032 Brandishing a Firearm
An UBER driver arrives in the area of Lake Erie/Lake Ontario to pick up a rider and gets a gun pointed at him. He speeds off and calls 911.  The suspect was standing next the suspect car which was a 2-door blue vehicle last seen driving westbound on Lake Ontario. The suspect was described as black male adult in his 20’s, and also a black female adult was in the driver seat.  Case investigated by Officer Wilson.

#002 Residential Burglary
A residential burglary was reported in the 4700 block of Porter Street.  The suspect gained entry by removing a backyard bedroom window screen.  Loss to be determined.  Officer Kerner investigating.
