Deputies arrest Joseph Jenkins of Needles for Resisting Arrest and Violation of Post Release Community Supervision

LOCATION: W. Broadway and J St., Needles, CA 92363
SUSPECT(S): Joseph John Jenkins, 24 years old, from Needles
SUMMARY:
On Friday, March 9, 2018, deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police saw Joseph Jenkins traveling in a vehicle near W. Broadway and J. St. Deputies were familiar with Jenkins and knew he had a no bail warrant for violation of PRCS (post release community supervision). Deputies attempted to stop the vehicle Jenkins was traveling in, but the driver did not stop immediately. The driver drove a short distance and let Jenkins out of the vehicle. Jenkins then ran from the vehicle with deputies in foot pursuit. Jenkins was apprehended approximately two blocks away and taken into custody for PC148(a)(1) Resisting Arrest and PC3455 Violation of Post Release Community Supervision. Jenkins was booked into Needles Jail without bail.
