Honoring Citizens

During the City of Walnut council meeting on February 28th, the City Council along with Captain Reyes from the Walnut / Diamond Bar Sheriff's Station, recognized the heroic acts of two Walnut residents. You may remember the event in which a young child was running in the roadway of Amar Road. These two citizens were instrumental in the outcome of a potentially tragic event. Due to their quick actions, a disaster was surely avoided.

We commend their selfless actions and urge all residents of Walnut to get involved. Show your city pride, and look out for one another.
