9:00am Storm Update 500 without power, only road closure-Gravel Hill between Prospect Plains & Union Valley 
Monroe reports that plowing and salting operations throughout the township will be completed by 11:00am. Main roads are clear. Gravel Hill Road between Prospect Plains and Union Valley is still closed for downed wires. All traffic lights are operational.
JCPL is reporting approximately 500 customers are still without power at this hour. JCPL is operating in a response and restoration mode, actively working to restore service. Utility officials remain in contact with Township Officials with services updates and we will keep you informed.
Municipal offices will be opening at 10am
Township Library will open at 10:30am
Monroe Warming Centers and Charging Stations will be open:
10:00am Senior Center
10:30am Library
Please be reminded to shovel sidewalks, hydrants and bus stops.
