WINTER STORM WARNING in effect for The Borough of Washington thru 3:00 a.m. Thursday.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for The Borough of Washington until 3:00 a.m. Thursday. Heavy wet snowfall is expected to move into our area beginning at 8:00 p.m. Moving cars off of the street ahead of the storm is now more critical than ever due to the fact that there is a large amount of debris at the roadside, some roads remain blocked, and utility crews in addition to first responders will need unfettered access. Please help us ensure that the roads will remain clear during this next storm. Vehicles left on the street during the storm are subject to ticketing and towing. To stay informed before, during and after the storm, please opt in to Nixle alerts on your mobile device by texting your zip code to eight eight eight seven seven seven and by monitoring the official borough social media page on Facebook @washborowarren
